SPOILERS: Backstage news on tonight's Raw, WWE cuts down on production staff

The hype for SummerSlam should pick up on tonight's show since they are now done with the Smackdown-branded Battleground pay-per-view.

Here are some late notes for tonight's Raw, courtesy of PWInsider:

Wale is said to be backstage at the show. He lives in the area and, as most of you know by now, he is a big wrestling fan so it's no surprise for him to be there.

WWE has cut back on the production staff at TV as of late. That included stagehands and camera crew personnel. For those of you that asked, the reason why they did not use the LED screens on the ring apron and ring posts at Battleground is because they get in the way of the Punjabi bamboo structure.

The following is somewhat of a spoiler since it has not yet been announced by WWE... The plan for tonight is for a rematch between Big Cass and Enzo Amore.

Also scheduled for tonight:

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley with the winner going on to challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

Finn Balor will take on Elias Samson in a NO DQ match

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will take on all three members of The Miztourage (The Miz, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas)

Also, as Kurt Angle said last week on the WWE Network, there should be more news on who will be Brock Lesnar's challenger for his Universal Championship at SummerSlam. As noted last week, it sure looks like they will announce a Fatal 4-Way between Lesnar, Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman.
