While doing a recent sit-down interview at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas with Variety, Stephanie McMahon talked about a wide range of topics including her dream match at the biggest event of the year for the company, WrestleMania.
This was when the daughter of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon stated that she wants to main event this show. However, she wouldn’t name who she would face in this match, but rather it came off as wanting to see women headline.
“My dream matchup is the main event at WrestleMania, regardless of who’s in it,” said Stephanie. “I think it’s gonna happen, but I also think it’s not easy.”
McMahon was last seen in action when she teamed up with her husband Triple H to take on WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle and current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
This saw McMahon and Triple H lose in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34 last year at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before this, she competed aganst Brie Bella at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event in 2014 from the  Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
“What’s great about it is that our women and men are truly competing for the spotlight right now,” stated Stephanie. “It’s a great conversation and it’s about who belongs there, not because of their gender but about who’s the bigger star.
“Who’s delivering? It’s this great atmosphere right now. It’s always a family but of course there’s competition. It’s exciting. It’s fun and that’s the way it should be.”
