The Barclays Center may have spoiled plans for the WWE Universal Championship match at SummerSlam. As we all know, Brock Lesnar is scheduled to defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Samoa Joe. If Lesnar loses the title then he and Paul Heyman will leave WWE.
Well, the Barclays Center sent out a tweet on Wednesday morning and announced that Lesnar has been added to Monday Night Raw. Obviously, the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing in this case because the tweet was later deleted.
A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Lesnar was booked for shows in September, including the No Mercy pay-per-view in Los Angeles. As of this writing, Lesnar is scheduled for Raw on 8/28 in Memphis, Raw on 9/11 in Anaheim, No Mercy on 9/24 in Los Angeles, and a WWE live event on 9/30 in Winnipeg. All of that would seem to indicate that he is not losing the title on Sunday.
