The Miz comments on CM Punk’s distasteful remarks about him from earlier this year

The Miz recently opened up on the apparent heat he has with CM Punk that dates back to earlier this year.

Back in January, The Miz did an episode of WWE Backstage and after the show was over, he stated that he felt that this was the best episode in the history of the show.

After Renee Young told him that Ember Moon’s appearance was pretty good, Miz responded, “Oh, sorry I didn’t change the culture. My bad.”

Punk then took to Twitter after the show where he said, “Go suck a blood money covered d**k in Saudi Arabia you f**king dork.”

Punk later deleted the tweet. It should be noted that Miz decided to not work the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

For those who may not recall, during his debut on WWE Backstage last November, Punk promised to “change the culture.” Thus, it appeared at the time that Miz was referencing what Punk said and that didn’t go over well with former WWE star.

The former WWE Champion reflected on the incident while doing an interview with 411 Mania.

“I have no idea to be honest with you. Like, I still to this day have no idea. To be honest, I thought we were friends. And it’s just like one of those things where you’re like, ‘God, man.’ I don’t know. I just don’t know, like I really don’t. I wish I could answer any of the questions that you would have about that, but I honestly — I don’t know. I don’t get it. I don’t get him.”

Miz also talked about his new USA Network game show, Cannonball, the latest on Miz & Mrs.’ new season, his longstanding rivalry with Daniel Bryan, and more.
