– For anyone wondering, next year’s WrestleMania will be on the WWE Network. There was a little bit of speculation that the show could be pulled off the network and be offered only as part of traditional pay-per-view on cable and satellite. The WrestleMania 32 skins on the production trucks are pushing WrestleMania as being “live on the WWE Network” and the most prominent people shown are The Rock, Nikki Bella, John Cena, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, The Undertaker, Ryback and R-Truth.
As noted before, WrestleMania 32 will be an “all hands on deck” show so they will be reaching out to top names that can still go. Steve Austin will have a role on the show but it’s very unlikely that he’ll be wrestling. There was a pitch for him to be at WrestleMania 31 Â this year but a deal was not worked out. Austin has said that he’d only do something at WrestleMania if it made sense creatively and he wouldn’t want to show up to just hang out. I think if they really wanted Goldberg for a match then this would be the time to make a deal with him.
The Undertaker’s match is set in stone but only Vince McMahon seems to know what the plans are for him at the show. As noted before, Vince is not keen on the idea of a Sting vs. Undertaker match.
