As we wrote about on Saturday, there were several current WWE Superstars that watched the All In pay-per-view on Saturday night. Some of them watched it live and others watched it on delay on Sunday.
You can add one of the biggest wrestling names in history to the list of people who were rooting for The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes on a successful event.
The Rock took some time to congratulate Rhodes on his NWA Heavyweight Championship victory over Nick Aldis.
Congrats my friend. So f’n cool!
That’s some real legacy and history you’re now a part of. Proud of you. Your pops is lookin’ down and smilin’ BIG! #10LbsOfGold #NWAHeavyweightChamp https://t.co/m9E9DUIKis— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) September 3, 2018
So now the question is what happens next? Following the All In pay-per-view, The Elite went out to the ring and thanked the fans and it sounded like they were leaning towards doing another show. If that is the case then it seems less likely that they will be going to WWE when their current ROH/NJPW contracts expire in a few months.
2018 has been an interesting year and 2019 is shaping up to be, perhaps, one of the biggest years ever for professional wrestling as the independent wrestling boom continues.
