The Undertaker is using a different name for non-WWE appearances

Rapper Bad Bunny has released a new video to get some buzz for a future show in Puerto Rico.

The video features several of his close friends and celebrities but wrestling fans noticed The Undertaker was featured. It’s no secret that Bad Bunny is a big wrestling fan. In fact, Ric Flair was prominently featured in one of his music videos last year.

In the video released this week, Taker appears but he does not call himself The Undertaker, likely because WWE owns the trademark. Instead, he is calling himself The Deadman.

Taker (The Deadman) appears at 0:28 in the video below:

As we noted earlier, Taker is scheduled for Starrcast II in Las Vegas during AEW Double Or Nothing weekend. Vince McMahon was not happy when he heard the news because he associates Starrcast with AEW even though Conrad Thompson has made it clear that he does not work for AEW and his convention is a separate company.

In order to get around the trademark issue, Starrcast is advertising him as “Mark Callaway aka The Undertaker.”

Taker recently removed WWE references from his social media bios and he is reportedly commanding $25,000 per hour for appearances and $60,000 for three hours.
