For anyone wondering about the real-life Nia Jax/Alexa Bliss friendship, it appears to be over.
On June 22, Taylor Underwood had an exclusive here on WrestlingNews.co on Nia Jax having heat with WWE management because of her tweet about Alexa Bliss’ “I am enough” tattoo that is a reference to her overcoming her battle anorexia. As of this writing, the tweet is still up on Jax’ timeline. This story came from solid sources in WWE saying that the issues between them are real and not being done for a storyline.
Just prior to this tweet, both women quietly unfollowed each other and there was a negative post on Instagram from a fan that was liked by Jax.
The story from Underwood was recently confirmed by Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer forum. Meltzer said, “Nia has real life heat. So this is not a work.” He later added, “This has nothing to do with Total Divas.”
It’s unclear if there will be any repercussions for Jax but we should know more soon by the way she is booked when she challenges Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules on 7/15.
