There will be no women’s matches for the Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia

The upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia will be one of the most stacked shows of the year but the card will not feature women. The advertising out for the show does not feature one single female, likely because of the customs in that country where women do not have equal rights as men. It’s notable because WWE’s biggest mainstream star right now is a woman (Ronda Rousey) and she will not be there. WWE has no choice in the matter and they are getting so much money from this deal so it would be crazy for them to not run there. Their TV deal in that country is for 10 years.

Seven titles will be on the line including the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Championships and the Cruiserweight Championship.

WWE plans on sending as many top names as possible including John Cena, Triple H, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, New Day, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and Bray Wyatt. There have been talks to add Chris Jericho and The Undertaker to the show.
