This year’s WrestleMania card does not include The Undertaker

The wrestling business teaches fans to never say never when it comes to retirements but the latest news on The Undertaker adds credibility to the rumor about him being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year.

For those of you that missed it, click here to see the email that was sent out by WWE on Monday. The email specifically mentions Taker as a WWE Hall Of Famer. It may have been a simple mistake by someone in the web department or someone let the news out early. We should know more soon because the HOF headliner is the first name to be announced ahead of tickets going on sale and tickets should be going on sale within the next week or two.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the proposed top card for WrestleMania does not include an Undertaker match this year. Again, that could always change as we get closer to the event but the company usually has the top matches locked in by this time.

Taker last wrestled at the Crown Jewel event in November where he teamed with Kane in a losing effort against Triple H and Shawn Michaels. He has been making more appearances at conventions and autograph signings. Click here to see a photo taken of him yesterday with two Impact Wrestling stars.
