Three matches set for next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw

Business is picking up as WWE starts the build towards SummerSlam. You can expect the pace of the shows to pick up because the company is hoping to make this year’s SummerSlam the biggest one yet. It’s not common for WWE to announce Raw matches so far in advance but we now know of three matches scheduled for Monday night.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will team up to face all three members of The Miztourage (The Miz, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas) in a 2 vs. 3 handicap match.

Also, Finn Balor will get another match with Elias Samson. This time, it will be a no disqualification match. As noted earlier, Balor was busted open hard way (click here to see the graphic photo) from a guitar shot. I think it was supposed to hit his shoulder but it ended up slicing open the side of his head.

Also, Sasha Banks will face Bayley. The winner of that match will go on to face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship.

And finally…as Kurt Angle indicated during his sit-down interview on the WWE Network, we do not know who will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam but that situation will be addressed next week. The number 1 contender for Lesnar’s Universal Championship was supposed to be determined this week but Braun Strowman ruined the main event between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns. It certainly looks like this will lead to a Fatal 4-Way since Strowman can also lay claim to being the number 1 contender since he defeated Reigns in the ambulance match at Great Balls Of Fire.
