TMZ says Ronda Rousey is NOT leaving WWE

TMZ Sports put out a story today disputing what was reported today in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on Ronda Rousey.

For those of you that missed it, Meltzer reported that there's been talk in the company about Rousey leaving by WrestleMania or shortly thereafter because she plans on starting a family soon. Rousey said last May that she's been wanting to start a family so that has been known for a while.

TMZ Sports is reporting that Rousey is "super happy" with her WWE career and she is not ready to plug the plug yet.

"Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021," a WWE spokesperson said in a statement.

Just to be clear, the report by Meltzer said that management is working as if she will be done by Mania. He also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are no issues with Rousey and she could always return because she is part of the WWE family.

Meltzer was the first to report on Rousey signing with WWE last year, despite denials that were issued at the time because the company wanted to keep her appearance at last year's Royal Rumble a secret.
