The E! Network is apparently happy with the ratings for Total Bellas because they have renewed the show for season 4. Season 3 ended with the highly-publicized break-up of Nikki Bella and John Cena. A day later, Bella told TMZ that her relationship with Cena was officially over.
Meanwhile, Brie has been trying to balance being a new mom and a businesswoman while Daniel Bryan returned to the wrestling ring for WWE.
“Nikki and Brie’s willingness to be open about their struggles and celebrate their triumphs with their fans is what makes Total Bellas such a hit with our audience,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Executive Vice President, Development and Production, E! “The Bella Twins embody the strong, empowered women that we celebrate here at E!, and we are so excited to see what the future has in store for them next.”
There is no return date set for the season 4 premiere but you can bet that the Bella-Cena relationship drama will continue. A couple of weeks before the season finale, Bella and Cena were seen on vacation in Lake Tahoe and the E! Network cameras were there.
Meanwhile, Total Divas is set to return for its eighth season on Wednesday, September 19 at 9 pm eastern. The show will feature the return of Paige and will cover Nia Jax’s road to winning the Raw Women’s Championship.
Nikki and Brie are also credited as Executive Producers for Total Bellas.
