UFC’s Michael Chandler Confirms He’s In Talks With Triple H About WWE Future

UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler may be looking to trade the octagon for the squared circle. The two-time Bellator Champion has confirmed that he has spoken with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H about a potential move to professional wrestling.

Speaking with The Schmo Show at Fanatics Fest in New York City, Chandler revealed that the conversation took place at the event.

“I was talking to WWE, talking to Triple H about my WWE contract. So we’re trying to make that happen,” Chandler said. “He knows I’m a fan of WWE and him and the brand. He’s obviously a fan of what I bring to the table from an entertainment standpoint, what I can do on the microphone. So it’s always fun conversations. Who knows if anything is ever going to happen, but he knows I want that door to be open and I think he wants that door to be open too.”

This isn’t Chandler’s first interaction with the world of WWE. He previously appeared on the February 19, 2024, episode of Monday Night Raw, where he cut a promo from the crowd and called out his UFC rival, Conor McGregor.

“You are in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet,” Chandler said on Raw. “Now there’s a man in Ireland that’s been making me wait for way too long and there’s one dude on my mind…Conor McGregor, get your candy a** back in the octagon.”
