WWE Monday Night Raw is slated to be bumped off the USA Network for a few weeks next month. Pwinsider.com reported today that Raw will be airing on Syfy on February 7th and 13th due to USA Network’s Winter Olympics coverage. This will be the first time in decades that Raw won’t air in its normal timeslot on the network since returning in 2005.
On February 7th, the USA Network will air Men’s Figure Skating while on February 13th, Freestyle Skiing will be broadcasted.
The Olympics usually impact Raw’s TV ratings and with the show not only facing strong competition but also airing on a different network, historical lows could be set.
Last summer, WWE NXT was moved from the USA Network and aired on Syfy due to the Summer Olympics. The first episode did the lowest total viewership in the history of the show while the second episode did NXT’s lowest key demo.
