As noted last week, Samoa Joe is scheduled to move up to the main roster sometime after WrestleMania. There was talk of having him start on the day after Mania on Raw but that could be delayed if they decide to have Joe defeat Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at Takeover: Dallas.
On this week’s NXT, they outright talked about Joe going to the main roster so it looks like he will be moving up sooner than later. They also strongly indicated that the 4/1 Takeover show will be his last big NXT match.
On a somewhat related note, we are sorry to report that Joe recently lost his dog to cancer. We are sorry for his loss. If anyone reading this has a pet, then you know just how important they are. My pets are family to me.
