For those of you that missed it, WALTER made his WWE debut at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool.
His music played after the excellent match between Pete Dunne and Joe Coffey. WALTER made his way to the ring and landed a boot on Coffey’s face and then faced off with Dunne.
The crowd, as you could imagine, went nuts for this because WALTER was one of the hottest independent stars and he signed with WWE a few weeks ago. Many people in the business, including Jim Cornette, have praised WALTER’s work.
It looks like we’ll see WALTER vs. Dunne in the near future but it looks like Coffey will stay in the mix because the story of the match with Dunne was that Dunne was never able to win the match with the Bitter End. Dunne had to force him to submit in order to retain his title.
WALTER’s WWE deal is exclusive to Europe.
