WATCH: The APA Reunite At Wildkat Sports Revolution Rumble

Two legendary figures from the Attitude Era reunited this past weekend for a surprise appearance. Ron Simmons and JBL, collectively known as the APA, appeared together at the Wildkat Sports Revolution Rumble event on Saturday.

The segment saw the duo confront a tag team in the ring. The physical altercation began when JBL grabbed a steel chair from one of the wrestlers. He handed the weapon to Simmons before delivering his signature Clothesline from Hell to the other wrestler. Following the move, JBL cut a brief promo before the team made their exit.

Simmons and JBL are best known for their run as the Acolyte Protection Agency in WWE during the late 90s and early 2000s. They captured the tag team titles on multiple occasions before the team ended in 2004 following Simmons’ release. JBL transitioned into a singles run and eventually became WWE Champion. The pair has made sporadic appearances together over the years, including a spot during the 2024 WWE Draft.

JBL was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020. Meanwhile, Ron Simmons was recently announced as an inductee into the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame. This honor recognizes his time as part of the 1976 Warner Robins Screamin’ Demons team.

In recent months, JBL has been active across various promotions, making surprise appearances in TNA Wrestling, GCW, and AAA. His “free agent” status has allowed him to appear in multiple companies while maintaining his ambassador role with WWE.
