Crisis averted, Booker T and Corey Graves aren’t really going to fight each other.
It’s not surprising that this story was picked up though. Not only was it kind of a slow news week, but also to the credit of the Internet Wrestling Community, when a WWE Hall Of Famer threatens to assault a WWE commentator it’s going to make the news.
Booker T also opened his initial shots by saying he knows it will make the “dirt sheets” and then he continued to mention that he wanted a street fight against Corey Graves at WrestleMania.
But now Corey Graves and Booker T have come clean about the entire situation as the 5 time World Champion admitted there was actually a huge smile on his face when he found out he was leaving the Raw announce team and resuming his previous position as a panelist before pay-per-views.
Corey appeared on Booker T’s Heated Conversations to clear the air and they did so in amazing fashion. Graves said he was entertained by how they were able to work the entire pro wrestling world and it was all in fun. It turns out that Big E actually called Corey Graves as soon as he heard about this feud and asked if he could make fun of it which is why SmackDown Live included so many great jabs at the Booker T vs Corey Graves situation this week.
You can check out the entire reveal below and if you were one of the people who thought that this was for real, then you might be a little disappointed. Pro wrestling is fun.
