Brock Lesnar was not in a good mood when Monday Night Raw went off the air and Mike Rome just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Rome tried to interview Lesnar as he walked through the curtain but things didn’t go exactly how he expected. Lesnar immediately grabbed Rome’s throat and said, “I don’t have any thoughts and at SummerSlam, I’m gonna kick Roman Reigns’ ass.”
For those of you that missed Raw, Lesnar attacked Kurt Angle and seemingly broke things off with Paul Heyman. They were teasing a split throughout the show and the final segment came off like it was the end for Lesnar’s affiliation with Heyman. It’s unclear what this means for Heyman going forward but he is scheduled for the Raw show in Greensboro. It’s more likely that they scripted the Lesnar/Heyman split because Lesnar is expected to leave WWE after SummerSlam.
Of course, Lesnar could always sign a new deal with WWE after he fights Daniel Cormier in UFC, presumably sometime in January or February. Check out the post-Raw backstage segment below:
