There was an awkward spot last weekend at the WWE live event in Anaheim. Cedric Alexander pinned Kalisto with the lumbar check but the fans in the building were talking about the spot with Kalisto’s mask.
A few minutes into the match, the mask came off and it was not something that was planned. The match was stopped briefly so that the referee could go over and get the mask for him. Kalisto moved towards the ringside area and then proceeded to put it back on.
Alexander got some boos for that since there are a lot of Kalisto fans in Southern California but it was clearly an accident.

The same thing happened on 205 Live when Lince Dorado’s mask was pulled off but that was planned and it could have been a takeoff of the unplanned unmasking in Anaheim. Perhaps, this is the start of the tease for a hair vs. mask match. Several weeks ago on 205 Live, TJP tried to take off Dorado’s mask during a match.
