WATCH: Matt Hardy hits Pat McAfee with kendo stick during Extreme Rules Watch Along

Matt Hardy and Pat McAfee decided to have some fun while watching Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on the WWE Network.

The two men were backstage at the Wells Fargo Center and featured on Watch Along for the show that airs on various social media platforms as well as WWE’s YouTube channel.

During it, Hardy connected with a nice kendo stick shot to the back of the former NFL player, who spent his entire professional career as a punter with the Indianapolis Colts.

This was done all in fun. You can watch the entire clip by clicking on the player below as well as Hardy and McAfee talking about it after the show:

Hardy later wrote, “I want everyone to rest easy & know that after a night of mediocre sleep, I feel a tiny bit better. Even though it obviously hurt me much more than it hurt him, what a great brother @PatMcAfeeShow is. #110YardPunt #YouDontUnderstand.”
