WATCH: Matt Riddle was still talking about Brock Lesnar after WWE Royal Rumble

One of the big news stories to come out of Royal Rumble weekend was the verbal altercation between Matt Riddle and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Both stars were backstage at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in Houston, Texas at the Minute Maid Park. Although they were in the same match, Men’s Royal Rumble, the two stars didn’t cross each other in the ring.

There have been reports about Lesnar coming up to Riddle and telling him to stop talking about a potential match between them because it would never happen. For years now, Riddle has talked about his desire to wrestle Lesnar and retire him.

WWE’s Performance Center YouTube channel has released this video of Riddle’s journey at the show where he commented on Lesnar. The video appears to have been shot backstage after Riddle’s elimination si it is clear that he still has Lesnar on his mind.

“I really wanted to get my hands on Brock. I saw him throwing everybody around, I don’t care what he says, what everybody else says, I don’t care if he wants the match or not, I’m going to get it, I don’t care, it’s not up to him.”
