The first full-length commercial for SmackDown Live on FOX aired on Sunday night during primetime programming.
As seen below, several of the top stars from both brands are featured including Triple H, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Roman Reigns and Kofi Kingston.
This will be an “all hands on deck” show with every top star from each brand expected to appear. They are locally advertising several former WWE Superstars including Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Trish Stratus, Goldberg and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
The following matches are listed on the local advertising (note: this is subject to change and likely will change):
*The New Day and Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan and Rowan
*Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe
*Brock Lesnar and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley are scheduled to appear.
It will be interesting to see what changes are in store for the brand as there has been talk that FOX wants SmackDown Live to be sports-oriented. The first show on FOX will also be the 20th anniversary show.
