WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network, is slated to air a new documentary on Yokozuna that is titled, WWE Icons: Yokozuna.
This is the first episode of the new WWE Icons series. It will premiere this Sunday.
Yokozuna started his pro wrestling career in 1984 and joined WWE in 1992. During his tenure, he was a two-time WWE Champion and two-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He departed from WWE in 1997 and continued to work on the independent wrestling scene up until his death in 2000 from pulmonary edema at the age of 34-years-old.
