WWE gave fans a behind the scenes look at Sami Zayn’s return on last week’s episode of SmackDown on FOX in Orlando, Florida at the Amway Center.
This return was done to set up his feud with current Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy as Zayn is claiming that he never lost the title due to his hiatus from WWE.
At one point, he was surprised by a drone camera that sneaked up on him. He also talked about being away for five months and there was footage of before and after his encounter with Hardy.
It appears that WWE is building up to a champion vs. champion match between Zayn and Hardy at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event later this month, but that hasn’t been confirmed by WWE.
