When Dolph Ziggler made his reappearance on SmackDown Live after SummerSlam it sounded like he had been doing a lot of thinking during his time away from WWE. But most of all he had a lot of things to get off his chest.
The Show Off had been off television for a bit because WWE had other stories they were focusing on. He took a backseat and he realizes this fact. Now he wants to get back into the fray and it looks like he’s going to take an interesting tactic to get that done.
“Dolph Ziggler is back and his new gimmick is that he’s a complainer?” Dave Meltzer questioned on Wrestling Observer Radio.
In his promo on SmackDown Live, Ziggler said he would play guitar, sing, dance, glow, and do any number of things he’s noticed other superstars doing who seem to be getting more of a reaction than him.
The overall thought is WWE wasn’t doing Ziggler any favors with his promo on SmackDown Live, but only time will tell just how well it picks up. Dolph has been in the main event scene in the past and he obviously loves the spotlight. When he performs at house shows he still gets a big pop because people are excited to see him work. It’ll just be a matter of figuring out what place he’ll take on SmackDown Live.
