John Cena and Roman Reigns had a little spat on Twitter and finally stood face this week on Raw. Cena said he didn’t come to talk. It looked like we were going to get a long-awaited match with The Big Dog vs Big Match John, but Miz ruined the party. Miz cut an amazing promo and there’s a good reason why. What resulted was a tag match that Roman Reigns didn’t really see coming.
“When [John Cena booked Roman Reigns as his tag team partner] Roman Reigns gave him this look like you know like he didn’t want to be his partner,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “But they ended up being partners and not having any big problems except for that one problem right in the end which was the big tease.”
“So obviously we’re getting Cena and Roman Reigns. I don’t know if it’s gonna be the next pay-per-view but it could be. But we’re certainly getting it though.”
In all honesty, the answer to the question of when we’re getting Roman vs John might be Cena’s Bumblebee schedule. He obviously has to take some time off for this project it’s just a matter of when they will need him to save the planet. But while he’s in WWE it looks like Cena is doing everything he can to entertain the WWE Universe and he might be getting another dream match out of the way very soon.
