It’s official. The WWE 24/7 Championship has been retired.
The status of the title was confirmed on WWE.com. On the Superstars section, the active titles show the year when the belt was introduced until “Present.” As seen below, the WWE 24/7 title is listed as a title that existed from 2019-2022.
The title met it’s end this past Monday night on Raw when Nikki Cross defeated Dana Brooke in a regular wrestling match without comedy. After the match, Cross was shown backstage dumping the title like trash.
The decision to drop the belt is not a surprise since Triple H has been making changes to the product after Vince McMahon left the company.
