WWE has announced a new segment for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
On Thursday, WWE confirmed that Michael Cole will interview Matt Riddle in the ring. There were no other details provided about the segment.

Riddle has only been on the main roster for a few weeks now, but by the way that the company has been booking him, it lines up with reports that officials think highly of the former NXT Tag Team Champion.
In his in-ring debut last month, Riddle beat United States Champion AJ Styles in a non-title match that was lengthy and competitive.
Last Friday’s episode of SmackDown was a tribute to The Undertaker and his 30-year career. The closing moments of the show featured Baron Corbin disrespecting the legendary pro wrestler.
Riddle in addition to other stars such as WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day, and Jeff Hardy hit signature moves to Corbin to end the show.
