As noted over the weekend, WWE has been running a storyline with The Miz threatening to go to Monday Night Raw if he cannot work out a better contract with Smackdown Live GM Daniel Bryan.
Considering that Miz is scheduled to wrestle Dolph Ziggler at the WWE No Mercy, I didn’t expect them to trade him to Raw anytime soon. The original plans for that match (and it might still be the plan) was for Miz to defend the Intercontinental title against Ziggler in a steel cage match.
The Ziggler-Miz match will likely be announced on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live.

As of now, the only matches that have been announced for the 10/9 No Mercy show in Sacramento are AJ Styles defending the WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match and Becky Lynch defending the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss.
