WWE has announced Worlds Collide for Saturday, September 26, putting the show on the same date and in the same market as AEW All Out.
Worlds Collide will be held at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. All Out takes place that same night at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Both venues sit in the Chicago suburbs, roughly 15 miles apart, and both companies market the market as Chicago.
AEW announced its date first. Tony Khan revealed All Out’s date and location in an interview with Q101 Chicago on July 6, with early access seating starting July 7 and general tickets going on sale July 13. The show marks a return to Saturday pay-per-views for AEW and the fifth time the NOW Arena has hosted All Out, going back to the first one in 2019.
Khan also explained at the time why All Out moved off its traditional Labor Day weekend slot, pointing to the four-week gap he wanted between it and All In at Wembley Stadium on August 30.
Worlds Collide has typically been used by WWE as a crossover event involving NXT, most recently against AAA. Full details on this year’s edition have not been announced.
