WWE is always expanding their ranks and adding standout performers from all over the world on a regular basis.
The pro wrestling scene on planet Earth is full of great talent and it looks like WWE could be zeroing in on two more in the lucha variety because The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted WWE was close to bringing in Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja.
“Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja are also going in for WWE medicals,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio after discussing Rey Mysterio’s current status.
“So if [Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja] get good reviews they might be getting — I mean you don’t go in there unless you’re pretty much offered a contract pending the reviews. So for those two guys, they may be the next to be and probably unless they get a bad report they’re probably going to be in NXT in a couple months.”
Garza Jr, who found success in Impact Wrestling could be a fine addition to the roster and Ultimo Ninja is also a young standout who has worked all over the lucha circuit including 15 matches in 2017 for The Crash Luchas according to the CageMatch.
Both Garza Jr and Ultimo Ninja could offer something special to NXT and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them eventually join the Lucha House Party currently going on in 2015 Live.
