WWE had some great plans for Enzo Amore on Raw 25

Enzo Amore was released from WWE and when the news broke some people were a bit surprised. After all, the investigation is still underway and usually, WWE waits until there is a conviction or at least charges before termination takes place.

But Bryan Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live that he believes Enzo was actually fired yesterday but word got out today about it. He also went into some detail concerning what WWE’s plans for Amore were on Raw 25 if he was able to make the show.

Well, Enzo Amore did show up and you won’t believe what the t-shirt said that he was wearing…

One caller commented on how The Revival shouldn’t have been the ones jobbing so hard to DX and Balor Club during the end of the show but Alvarez revealed this was initially supposed to be Enzo’s role for Raw 25.

“Here’s the deal, first off that was supposed to be Enzo. I did talk to another person yesterday that said that.  Enzo was supposed to get all of DX’s finishers but he was fired.”

So it looks like if Enzo Amore stuck around Raw 25 still wouldn’t have ended like he would have probably preferred. But it still would have been an honor to take so many classic finishers during the closing segment of that monumental event. It’s a good thing WWE had some Top Guys they could call in The Revival.
