WWE Is Bringing In A Former Superstar For Worlds Collide

According to PWInsider.com, WWE is reportedly bringing in several familiar wrestling personalities for its WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event this Saturday, June 7, 2025.

This includes Lince Dorado, former WWE star Savio Vega, and Hector “Moody Jack” Melendez. While Dorado and Vega are being brought in for the Los Angeles event, which streams live on YouTube, Melendez is also slated for a larger role.

PWInsiderElite.com reports that Hector Melendez “is also on board and will be working on the AAA brand going forward for WWE.” The belief is that Melendez, who has extensive experience as an announcer and was notably LAX’s personal ring announcer for TNA, as well as working with AAA and Puerto Rican promotions WWL and WWC in the past, “will be working behind the scenes for the promotion.”

He is reportedly “expected at the WWE Performance Center this week in preparation for the event.” Melendez has previously worked with WWE’s Jeremy Borash during their time in TNA.
