WWE Is Exploring Major Changes for Monday Night Raw After Merger With UFC Is Complete

WWE confirmed the day after WrestleMania 39 that they had agreed to be acquired by The Endeavor Group with the idea for WWE and UFC to merge to create a new publicly traded company.

The power structure in WWE and UFC will stay the same: Nick Khan will remain as WWE President, and Dana White will remain UFC President. Vince McMahon will be the new company’s executive chairman, and Ari Emanuel will be the CEO.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2023. Changes are on the way for WWE, both on the corporate side and the product side.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is holding off on making major changes until the merger is done.

Meltzer wrote, “We were told the merger not being finalized is holding up major changes happening but there is talk of at least exploring major changes for Raw with new ideas when the merger takes place.”
