WWE makes changes to Extreme Rules matches

WWE has announced some changes to two matches taking place at the Extreme Rules PPV.

First up is Roman Reigns & The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre going from a normal tag team match to now being held under No Holds Barred rules.

The other match to receive changes is the SmackDown Tag Team Title match that originally saw Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan (champions) defend against Big E & Xavier Woods. However, Heavy Machinery was added to the match that is now a three-way after winning the main event of SmackDown Live on Tuesday night once they beat Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens.

The Extreme Rules pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Here is the updated card:

Mixed Tag Team Winners Take All Extreme Rules Match:
Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins vs. Lacey Evans & Baron Corbin

No Holds Barred Tag Team Match:
Roman Reigns & The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre

WWE Title Match:
Kofi Kingston (champion) vs. Samoa Joe

WWE SmackDown Women’s Title Match:
Bayley (champion) vs. Alexa Bliss

WWE Cruiserweight Title Match:
Drew Gulak (champion) vs. Tony Nese

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title Match:
Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan (champions) vs. Big E & Xavier Woods vs. Heavy Machinery
