Cody said a few hours ago, he was medically cleared to compete and challenged Balor to a match.

Backstage, Jey Uso saw Sami Zayn. Zayn said he is not here for a fight. He heard Jey say he’s dedicating the match to Reigns and questioned him why he is not doing this for himself. He told Jey that now that he attached Reigns’ name to the match, if he comes up short, it’s not going to be good and he doesn’t deserve that. Jey asked why he cared. Zayn said because he feels bad. Jey said don’t feel bad because he’s going to take back the tag team belts. He told Zayn not to worry about what’s going on over here because Zayn made his choice, and like it or not, Jey made his choice also.

Backstage, Trish Stratus said Becky Lynch told her the pressure is too much for her being atop the women’s division, being The Man, and being a mom. Stratus said she is a mom and has two children, but she is thriving. Stratus took her out of her misery and Lynch should be thanking her for that.

The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander

Lashley came out and said he knows how tough Theory is, but he doesn’t think Theory knows how tough Theory is. He said Theory is either lazy or scared because he should be welcoming every challenger. Lashley said he was the one who requested the triple threat match. Theory said if it is that easy for him to get a match, why didn’t he have a match at WrestleMania. Lashley told him he should knock his teeth down his throat for saying that. Theory said he should and then took a swing at Lashley. Lashley ducked and took down Theory and started pounding on him. They brawled outside the ring. Bronson Reed showed up and helped Theory beat down Lashley. Theory held Lashley against the ring post and Reed splashed him against it. They got back in the ring and Theory gave Lashley the A-Town Down. Reed then attacked Theory, gave him a senton bomb, and followed up with the Tsunami.

Earlier today, Chad Gable explained the draft to Boogs. Gable said he ensured that wherever he goes, Otis goes. Maxine Dupri showed up and told Gable that she has ensured that wherever she goes, Otis goes. Mustafa Ali told Gable he knows he’s worried about losing Otis, but then he can finally reach his potential and be the world champion, but that would be the end of Alpha Academy which would be the end of his life as he knows it because everyone will think he’s a loser without Otis just like he will be a loser in their match tonight.

In the ring, Seth Rollins said he was going to come out and talk about Omos, but he now has his mind on something bigger and that’s the world championship. He said Reigns has beaten a lot of people during his title reign, but he is not one of them. He wants the championship because this is an opportunity for us to have a world championship that’s about more than politics and part-timers. Omos and MVP came out. MVP said he respects Rollins. It’s his job to get MVP big matches and getting a match against Rollins is huge. Rollins said Omos is a once in a generation because he was born that way. Rollins is a once in a generation because he made himself that way. He is not afraid of Omos and he is going to make him famous by giving him the match of his life.

Backstage, Kevin Owens asked Sami Zayn where he’s been all night. Zayn said he talked to Jey. He asked Zayn why he cares. Owens said he used to like The Usos before they became Reign’s cronies. It’s too late now. If they haven’t figured out that Roman is using them to stay where he’s at, then whatever happens to them after we beat them on Friday, happens. Owens said he is worried about keeping the titles and that’s what Zayn should be worried about.

Rey Mysterio vs Damian Priest
