Austin Theory made his return to WWE NXT this week during a backstage segment.
Theory was on the show to confront Bronson Reed. Theory was last seen alongside Seth Rollins and Murphy on Monday Night Raw in June so this appearance on NXT appears to confirm that he is no longer part of the main roster.
WWE has not commented on why Theory has been off TV but there have been questions about his status with the company after allegations came out about alleged inappropriate messages sent to an underage girl a few years ago. You can click here for more on the allegations.

This week’s episode of WWE NXT was very newsworthy, earlier in the show, it was announced that a new NXT Champion will be crowned on Tuesday after Karrion Kross relinquished the title, Breezango won the NXT Tag Team Championship and Tommaso Ciampa brutally attacked Jake Atlas.
