As noted earlier, Karrion Kross had to relinquish the WWE NXT Championship after suffering a separated shoulder during his match with Keith Lee at TakeOver: XXX on Saturday.
William Regal kicked off the second hour of this week’s broadcast with an announcement on how a new champion would be crowned. Regal started off by wishing Kross best wishes on his long recovery.
Regal announced that next week, four of the greatest NXT Superstars (former NXT Champions) will compete in a Four-Way match to decide the new champion. Those competitors are Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor and Adam Cole. Regal also announced that this would be a 60-minute Iron Man Match.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT was very newsworthy, earlier in the show Breezango won the NXT Tag Team Championship and Tommaso Ciampa brutally attacked Jake Atlas. Click here to catch up on the news from tonight’s episode of NXT on USA.
