Tonight on WWE NXT, New Day Invitational Match, winner gets added to the NXT Tag Title match at NXT Vengeance Day: Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs Duke Hudson & Andre Chase vs The Dyad. The Creed Brothers vs Indus Sher. Plus the debut of Stevie Turner! 

Our coverage begins at 8pm. 

The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutsus) (with Ivy Nile) vs Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan & Sanga) (with Jinder Mahal)

Jinder Mahal hooked Julius Creed’s leg in the corner. Ivy Nile then confronted Mahal and told him to get off the ring apron. whipped Julius to the rope and he ducked a clothesline. As Julius continued running to the other rope, he ran into Nile who was still on the ring apron. This sent Nile crashing to the floor. With Julius looking down on Nile, Mahaan clotheslined Julius. Mahaan made the tag to Sanga. Sanga chokeslammed Julius and made the pin as Brutus was checking on Nile. 

Backstage:

Tyler Bate and Axiom were backstage and said they wanted to tear the house down tonight. Damon Kemp came in and told them that when he was in the U.K., he found the European style of wrestling overrated. He told Axiom that if he sees A-Kid, tell him he’s hot garbage. 

Earlier today:

Zoey Stark said she was in the Royal Rumble for half an hour while Hartwell was pointing to the WrestleMania sign. Sol Ruca told Stark that the last time Hartwell wrestled her, Hartwell won. Stark told Ruca to stay out of her business and then challenged Harwell to a match.

After several counters back and forth in the later part of the match, Hartwell tried to go for a springboard off the top rope, but Stark tripped her up. Stark then hit her with the GTS for the win. Stark started raining down punches on Hartwell until Sol Ruca came down to make the save.

Pretape:

The Schism said the NXT Tag Team Champions have been kept from them for too long. Ava Raine said Chase University is abusive and manipulative. 

Pretape:

Apollo Crews said he is ready for his match with Carmelo Hayes at NXT Vengeance. 

In the ring:

Wes Lee said he expects to take an ass whipping at NXT Vengeance, but he will emerge victorious. This brought out Dijak who said he’s going to win and pry the belt from Lee’s cold hands. Von Wagner with Mr. Stone came out. Stone told Dijak that he thought he heard him say that he’s the biggest and the baddest and asked him if he had forgotten about Von Wagner. Dijak told Wagner that he has his sites set on the gold and has no issues with him. Lee stirred the pot between the two saying that we would need a new number one contender after Saturday. Dikak took a swing at Lee, who ducked, and Dijak’s punch connected with Wagner. Wagner clotheslined Dijak over the top rope. 

Von Wagner (with Mr. Stone) vs Dijak

Von Wagner gave Dijak a double arm under-hook slam off the top rope, but Dijak kicked out at two. Dijak gave Wagner the Feast Your Eyes on Wagner and scored the pin. 

Pretape:

Stacks told Tony D’Angelo he took care of both things as the Underboss so next week it’s on. D’Angelo was happy and told Stacks that they will now take care of the next thing.

Backstage:

McKenzie Mitchell said Nikita Lyons is facing a long rehabilitation after being attacked in the parking lot last week. She went over footage of what happened when Lyons was attacked. She said nobody is taking credit for the attack and she will keep us posted if there are any updates.

Tyler Bate vs Axiom 

Axiom went for a kick, but Bate blocked it and punched him in the jaw. Bate gave him a clothesline. Bate tried to hit the Tyler Driver 97, but Axiom back-flipped him for a two count. Bate then hit the Driver 97 on Axiom to pin him. They shook hands after the match. Damon Kemp got in the ring and hit Axiom from behind sending him into Bate before Bate got back up to run Kemp out of the ring.

Pretape:

Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre were outside in front of a fire. They said they will shed their egos and their need for control. These emotions no longer serve them and the initiation process has begun.

Backstage:

Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes were talking about NXT Vengeance Day. Hayes said he took Apollo Crews from the sidelines to the headlines and he will beat him in their two out of three falls match.

Backstage:

Roxanne Perez did a split screen interview with Jacye Jayne and Gigi Dolin. Perez said it was amazing to be in the Royal Rumble. She told Toxic Attraction that they act like they’re best friends, but there’s a lot of truth behind everything they said to each other. Gigi and Jacye said it will be two on one at Vengeance and Perez doesn’t stand a chance. Perez took her microphone off and left. Toxic Attraction continued to run down Perez when Gigi said that she will become the champion, but then paused, realizing she slipped up in saying this while Jacye looked stunned. Before Jacye could say anything, Perez appeared and jumped both of them.  

Stevie Turner vs Dani Palmer

Turner gave Palmer a big boot to her face followed by a DDT. Turner gave her a side slam for the win.

Backstage:

Kiana James and Fallon Henley told Katana Chance and Kayden Carter that while they might not be as close as them, they will win the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles at Vengeance Day. 

Charlie Dempsey vs Drew Gulak (with Hank Walker)

Dempsey locked the Cross Face Chicken Wing on Gulak. Gulak escaped pushing Dempsey into Walker and rolled Dempsey up for the pin

Backstage:

Mr. Stone told Von Wagner this isn’t working. He’s managed him for a year and he knows nothing about him. He told Wagner he has to show him who he is inside. He told Wagner, help me help you.

New Day Invitational: Winner advances to the Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way at Vengeance Day: 
Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs Duke Hudson & Andre Chase vs The Dyad (Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid)

Ava Raine got on the ring apron to cause a distraction, but Thea Hale pulled her down. Jagger Reid went for a running kick into the corner on Andre Chase, but Chase moved out of the way and made the tag to Duke Hudson. Chase and Hudson hit the Flatliner on Reid for the win.
