WWE NXT star suffers broken leg

WWE NXT Star Karen Q announced on her official Twitter account that she suffered a broken leg while working a live event over the weekend on the current NXT road trip.

WWE held an NXT live event on Saturday night in Atlanta, GA at the Center Stage Theatre. At this show, Karen teamed up with Bianca Belair against Rhea Ripley and Reina Gonzalez.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he saw a video from the show where Karen did a northern lights suplex in the match and couldn’t get up, which led to her being helped to the back. He didn’t elaborate any further.

Karen wrote the following statement on the social media platform:

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to finish the #NXTRoadTrip. I’m so proud of the matches I had this weekend and grateful to have the best family, friends & coworkers. My leg is broken, but I will be back! Thanks to all who have reached out and showed me love! #HoldMyDrinkIllBeBack”
