On Tuesday, WWE officially announced that NXT will be airing on the USA Network starting Wednesday, September 18th.
WWE noted in the press release that since the show had been airing on Wednesday nights at 8 pm, NXT has been WWE Network’s #1 weekly series.
Shortly after the news was made, the company sent out a programming alert to WWE Network subscribers regarding the status of NXT on WWE Network. The following was issued:
“Following NXT’s growth in popularity, its weekly Wednesday night show will expand its reach and now air LIVE on USA Network at 8/7C starting September 18.
The new two-hour NXT weekly show will also be available on-demand on WWE Network every Thursday night beginning at 8/7C. NXT TakeOver events will continue to stream live exclusively on WWE Network.”
