WWE Raw airs tonight from the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, headlined by the return of World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and the opening semifinals of both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
Reigns is back on the red brand after sitting out last week’s show in Paris, with the Bloodline story continuing to build around him. In his absence, LA Knight kept taking shots at the champion. Jey Uso, meanwhile, advanced to the King of the Ring semifinals by pinning LA Knight this past Friday on SmackDown. Reigns is not currently advertised for Night of Champions later this month.
Both tournament semifinals send their winners to the finals at Night of Champions. On the men’s side, AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio takes on Oba Femi. On the women’s side, Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez faces former Women’s World Champion IYO SKY.
Chad Gable wrestles his first Raw match as himself in more than a year, his first since the El Grande Americano mask-versus-mask storyline in AAA ended with him unmasked. Now back under his own name and looking to make amends with the lucha libre world, Gable goes one-on-one with Rusev after coming to the aid of Rey Mysterio and Penta last Monday in Paris.
The show streams live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET. Announced for tonight:
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns returns
King of the Ring semifinal: Oba Femi vs. Dominik Mysterio
Queen of the Ring semifinal: IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez
