Bayley put up her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Houston, Texas. The match took place after the Women’s Rumble match.
Bayley grabbed the tights after reversing Lacey’s moonsault attempt into a pin. Lacey’s daughter was shown in the crowd during this match.
Michael Cole noted that Bayley has held the SmackDown Women’s Title for a record-setting 247 days.
