Trick Williams def. Laredo Kid
Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) vs. Paige and Brie Bella (c) for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The champs had a hot start and brought the fight. The heels got the advantage on Paige before Brie got the hot tag and hit a series of kicks. Brie with a running knee to the challengers. Brie with a missile drop kick to Fallon for 2. Jacy Jayne got the on apron to distract Paige and that allowed Fallon to hit a german suplex. Brie pulled Paige out of the way of a spring board moonsault by Reid. Paige caught Reid with a big boot Jayne distracted Paige and Fallon hit a clothesline. Reid missed a spear and ate the ring post. Paige rolled up Reid but Jayne pushed her over with the referee not looking, Reid rolled through with her own pin for the win.
Winners: Reid and Henley
Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh in a No DQ Match
JD beat him down for the majority of the match as Dominik Mysterio got heat at ringside for whipping the jersey of the New York Knicks on his shoe. Danhausen put the jersey back on and made a comeback. He even hit Dom with a suplex. Danhausen walked up the ramp before the minhausen’s came out and jumped JD and Dom. Danhausen put a cat into the cloning machine. Out came of the box – Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns chokeslammed JD then gave Dom one through a table. Danhausen hit his finisher for the win.
Winner: Danhausen
Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
It was a back and forth match in the early going. Bayley put her in a boston crab, only for Lyra to get out of it. Lyra with a leg drop off the top rope to the back of the neck of Bayley. Bayley had her in a hold and Lyra fought out with a neck breaker. Lyra was bleeding from her nose. Lyra with a take over then put her in a headlock. Bayley never tapped, but passed out.
Winner: Lyra
Post-match, Lyra tossed her into the ring post then put her back in the submission. Lyra hit a powerslam to Bayley on the steel steps.
WWE Champion CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther and Sami Zayn (Gunther and Zayn are added to the SummerSlam title match if they win)
It was back and forth in the early going before Sami and Gunther beat down Cody. Sami missed a big boot in the corner and Punk got the hot tag and hit a clothesline off the top rope. Punk with a knee strike in the corner then the bulldog. Punk was bleeding from the bridge of his nose. Punk with an elbow drop off the top rope then locked in the anaconda device. Cody put Gunther in the figure four leg lock Gunther poked Punk’s eyes, allowing Sami out and to attack Cody. Sami with a suplex in the corner. Sami with a big boot in the corner. Cody hit the cross rhodes to Sami before Gunther hit Cody with a clothesline. Punk with a GTS to Gunther. Gunther sent Punk into Cody and put him in a sleeper. Cody got the tag and hit a crossrhodes to Gunther for 2 as Sami broke it up and the referee was taken out. Punk with the GTS to Sami. Cody accidentally took out Punk and Gunther hit Cody with a big boot. Gunther hit Cody in the face with the title. Gunther with a powerbomb to Cody for 2 as a new referee ran out. Nick Aldis came out and pulled the referee out of the ring. Aldis hit Gunther with the title and Punk hit Gunther with the GTS. Cody pinned Gunther for the win.
Winners: Punk and Rhodes
Jalen Brunson Segment
They had Jalen Brunson come down to the ring with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Reigns cut a promo about how fans have wondered what they’re doing out in the ring. He said that greatness is acknowledging greatness. He said that New York is the home of WWE and they make him feel like he’s home as well. Roman said that every champion in WWE gets a title and he made some moves so he got Jalen a custom WWE World Title. He told the fans to acknowledge them and they posed in the ring with their titles. Seth Rollins’ music hit and Tyrese Haliburton came out with a chair while wearing a Rollins shirt. Rollins attacked Roman from behind. Seth kicked him in the head then was about to go for a stomp, but Jalen got in front of it and stopped him. Roman punched Seth then hit a spear to close the show.
