WWE SmackDown Preview (6/20/25): King And Queen Of The Ring Semi-Finals

Tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Grand Rapids, Michigan, will see the semi-finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments take place. The winners will advance to the tournament finals at the Night of Champions premium live event on June 28.

In the King of the Ring semi-final, two of WWE’s most popular stars will collide as “The Viper” Randy Orton takes on “The Underdog from the Underground” Sami Zayn. Both men won their respective fatal four-way qualifying matches last week to earn their spot in the bout.

On the women’s side, the Queen of the Ring semi-final will feature the returning “Empress of Tomorrow,” Asuka, going one-on-one with Alexa Bliss. Asuka made her return from a year-long injury absence on Raw this past Monday to win her qualifying match, while Bliss advanced with a win on last week’s SmackDown.

Also scheduled for tonight’s show is Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, who will continue his farewell tour as he takes on R-Truth.
