In the ring, Austin Theory said if he keeps getting challengers like Sheamus, he’s going to be the champion forever.
Austin Theory & Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) vs The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, & Butch)
Theory gave Butch a knee to the face. Sheamus clotheslined Theory over the top rope. Theory rammed Sheamus into the ring post. Pretty Deadly gave Holland the Spilt Milk. Austin tagged in, covered Holland, and pinned him.

In the back, Paul Heyman told Solo Sikoa we have to make this a special night for Roman Reigns and that The Usos are nowhere to be found so this is the night they can acknowledge Roman Reigns.
Earlier tonight, AJ Styles said it was his birthday and told Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, & Michim that he will take the L at Night of Champions and keep moving forward. Styles said he would like to see Gallows and Anderson take out Hit Row
The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) (w/ AJ Styles & Michin) vs Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) (w/ B-Fab)
Gallows gave Adonis a spinebuster. Gallows tagged in and gave Adonis a boot to the face and a kick to the back of the head. Gallows gave Adonis a running elbow into the corner and followed it up with a flying uppercut. Anderson tagged in and they gave Adonis the Magic Killer and Anderson pinned him.

After the match, Top Dolla kicked Anderson and Gallows. Styles came off the top rope and hit Top Dolla with the Phenomenal Forearm.
Backstage, Adam Pearce told Paul Heyman he already informed The Usos that their travel was cancelled. They were not happy, but they were informed they were not needed tonight. If they want to show up, he’s doubled the security to the building, so they are not going to get in.
The Grayson Waller Effect: Guest Asuka
Asuka started talking in Japanese and Waller said he could not have said it better himself. IYO SKY came out. SKY and Asuka argued in Japanese. Bayley came out and said a member of Damage CTRL is going to win Money in the Bank. Shotzi came out and said she is made for the chaos of the Money in the Bank Match. Lacey Evans said she is winning Money in the Bank, but first she is going to beat Zelina Vega. Vega came out and said they are all underestimating her. Asuka made her way up the aisle and said nobody is ready for Asuka. Belair came out and started brawling with Asuka before officials broke it up.
Backstage, Cameron Grimes said he’s going to handle Baron Corbin the next time he shows his face on SmackDown
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Zelina Vega vs Lacey Evans
Evans gave Vega the Women’s Rights before the match started. Vega gave Evans a headlock take down and followed it up with Code Red to pin her.

Backstage, Santos Escobar told Zelina Vega that Latinos are celebrating her win and next week, Escobar will win his Money in the Bank match.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Montez Ford vs LA Knight
Ford came off the top rope, Knight moved out of the way, so Ford rolled through it. Ford went for a rollup but Knight reversed it and held on to the ropes to pin him.

Triple H introduced Roman Reigns. Reigns, Solo, and Heyman came to the ring. Triple H congratulated Roman Reigns for being the champion for 1,000 days. He presented Reigns with a new belt as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The Usos showed up. Jimmy Uso and Reigns had a staredown. Reigns told Jey Uso to fix this and told him to kick Jimmy in the face. Jimmy said he didn’t kick Reigns in the face to be the tribal chief or lead The Bloodline. He did it because he was being a brother. Brothers treat brothers with love and respect and lately Reigns hasn’t been a good brother and he has gone crazy. He said he’s going to protect Jey because he’s his brother. He said Solo is his brother and told Solo that Reigns is going to use him, manipulate him, and toss him to the side. Reigns gave the microphone to Solo and said let him say who he runs with. Solo said he acknowledges his tribal chief, but The Usos are his brothers and stood with The Usos across from Reigns. Jimmy asked Reigns if he wants to run this thing together with respect or end up on the island of relevancy all by himself. Reigns told Jimmy to shut his mouth and Jimmy pie-faced him. Jey came between them and told them both that he needs them. Jimmy told Reigns they are stronger together. He said Jey and Solo are his brothers and so is Reigns. Jimmy told Reigns to be his brother and lets do this together with respect and run this place like they’ve been doing together. Reigns hugged Jimmy and said no and Solo spiked Jimmy. As Reigns, Solo, and Heyman made their way up the ramp, Heyman asked Reigns, ‘What about Jey’. Reigns said he will do what he always does and that is fall in line.
