Lacey Evans returned to WWE TV on Friday Night SmackDown in a segment with several of the women on the roster.
Evans declared that she would be the person to enter the Women’s Money In The Bank match in London on July 1st and she would win it. There was another tweak to her gimmick this week as she walked down to the ring with a camouflaged outfit and a Marine Corps cover that a drill instructor would use. Her look is also believed to be inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter.
Tonight’s match was the first time Evans has wrestled on TV since March. Evans and Shotzi defeated Evans and Xia Li on the 3/24 episode and she lost some dark matches in April and May.
Tonight, she lost to Zelina Vega in a Money In The Bank qualifying match. Vega won the match clean after hitting the Code Red finisher. Click here for complete WWE Friday Night SmackDown results.
