WWE continued the build to next Saturday’s Fastlane PLE on Monday’s Raw, but they also booked one star to make history.
Matches included Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) defending against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, Bronson Reed vs. Otis, Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser, and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio defending against Dragon Lee.
On the flip side, segments booked included Shinsuke Nakamura responding to Seth Rollins, Miz TV with Drew McIntyre, and more.
WWE Stats noted on Twitter that this was the sixth time an NXT Title was defended on Raw, and Mysterio made history by becoming the first-ever star to defend an NXT Title on Raw two times. He previously did it against Sami Zayn in July with a North American Title defense.
